Since 2008, Lil Wayne has managed to release a new album every year. Due to being behind bars, Lil Wayne released two albums in 2010. Upon being released, Lil Wayne took the game over with his quadruple album, Tha Carter IV, with plans of continuing his run. Lil Wayne planned to top 2012 off with his sixth album in four years, I Am Not a Human Being 2.

Before the start of the summer, Lil Wayne released the first single, “My Homies Still,” which featured Big Sean. Ironically, this single came only weeks before Lil Wayne began exchanging disses with Pusha T, Big Sean’s G.O.O.D. Music label-mate. The brief feud helped to place more of the spotlight on Lil Wayne.

Lil Wayne has since refocused his energy on completing I Am Not a Human Being 2, while discussing his future albums. In addition to his own music, Lil Wayne made a notable appearance on Game’s “Celebration.” From the way it looked, Lil Wayne was set to face off against his frequent collaborator on December 11, this is no longer the case, as Billboard is reporting the album is delayed until 2013.
