Lil Wayne was slapped with a federal weapons charge last month and this dates back to an incident where he had a gun inside his bag while on a private jet in Miami in December 2019. This was at Miami-Opa Locka Executive where police found a gold-plated Remington 1911, .45-caliber handgun loaded with 6 rounds of ammunition. Cocaine, ecstasy, and oxycodone wee also found on the jet.

According to TMZ, Wayne has just entered a guilty plea. He faces 10 years in prison as he will be sentenced in January. He may get a lighter sentence though due to Wayne entering the guilty plea so the government can get a better sentence as he accepted responsibility. Wayne was also convicted in 2009 of a gun charge in New York.

This also comes after Wayne released the third installment of his ‘No Ceilings’ mixtape series last month. DJ Khaled hosted the mixtape as the biggest record from that project was “BB King Freestyle” feat. Drake.
