An avid sports fan, Lil Wayne’s recent wave of controversy reached new heights when he began feuding with the Miami Heat. Blaming his issues over an exchange with Dwyane Wade in 2011, Lil Wayne sounded off on the Heat. A regular season ticket-holder, Wayne is able to enter every game, but is a Los Angeles Lakers’ fan.
This past season has been a tough one for the Los Angeles Lakers. The roles have officially reversed, as the Miami Heat are winners of sixty plus games this season and the Lakers struggled to make the playoffs. Whether or not the Lakers make the playoffs, their hopes were dashed after Kobe Bryant was injured.
While chances are high of the Lakers making the playoffs, hopes of playoff success is very grim. As a Lakers fan, Lil Wayne was highly disappointed and he voiced this on Twitter with a series of tweets. Glad the Lakers won a pivotal game, Lil Wayne expressed sadness with Kobe Bryant missing out on the action.
