Slick comments and slight jabs in songs, all a part of a friendly competition between the YMCMB camp and the extended family of Jay-Z, spreading to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, has led to full-blown beef. For over a year, many have felt Pusha T was subliminally dissing Drake. Pusha T never confirmed or denied this and Drake said he would defend himself, if needed. Tensions continued to build.

Before butting heads with Pusha T, Big Sean accused Drake of stealing his rapping style and making it popular, something Drake agreed with. His next challenge from G.O.O.D. Music would not blow over as smoothly. Whether of not Common’s “Sweet” was actually about Drake, it defined the closing months of 2011 and the opening months of 2012. Drake seized an opportunity on Rick Ross’ mixtape single, “Stay Schemin,'” alongside French Montana to take shots at Common.

After a brief verbal exchange, Drake and Common settled their differences. However, Pusha T continued to send shots, becoming more blatant on his recent track, “Exodus 23:1.” Many wondered who the song was aimed at, but it became Young Money’s problem when Lil Wayne took to Twitter, calling Pusha T out. Young Chop, popular for producing for new sensation, Chief Keef, immediately sided with Lil Wayne. Now, things have been taken up another level, with Wayne delivering a new diss track, “Goulish.”
