Since mid-2018, Lil Uzi Vert has had a lot of hype behind Eternal Atake, his long-awaited album. Because of how he came into the game, many were expecting his new album. Out the gate, Lil Uzi Vert had a ton of momentum, and then Migos feature put him over the top.

Lil Uzi Vert, like many artists, fell out of love with the music business, always having love for the music. Disputes with both DJ Drama, the head of his label, and Atlantic, the big label, fueled this. Now, Uzi says he wants out of the entire industry, saying he has retired.

Last night, Lil Uzi Vert took to his IG Live, where he ranted about the whole situation. The Philadelphia rapper said he would love to go ahead and drop Eternal Atake, but the label is holding it up. He ends his rant by suggesting he leak the whole thing on his SoundCloud.
