A budding star in the rap game was Lil Snupe, who had impressed everyone from the people on the streets, to mixtape DJs, to media personalities like Sway Calloway. Lil Snupe took the mixtape scene over with his RNIC mixtape. Before this, Lil Snupe had caught the attention of Meek Mill, who signed him to Dreamchasers Records.
Lil Snupe had big plans for 2013, many of which he rapped about during his classic freestyle on “Sway in the Morning.” Only three months ago, Lil Snupe performed on the platform in Austin, Texas at SXSW 2013. Those who knew Lil Snupe, personally, are heartbroken because of the loss.
Tony Holden is the man accused of murdering Lil Snupe, following a disagreement after losing to the young rapper in a video game. Holden was captured and arrested for first degree murder, armed robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm. Police chief, Charles Curry, said Holden robbed Snupe of money.
