Lil Nas X’s Debut Studio Album, “Montero,” Reaches Gold Eligibility

Lil Nas X finally released his debut studio album, “Montero,” last Friday. This project was led by hit singles such as “Montero (Call Me By Your Name), “Sun Goes Down,” and “Industry Baby” ft. Jack Harlow.

Montero is expected to be the number two album in the US this week, with 140,000 units sold. Now, it’s reached a quick milestone, in less than a week. According to Chart Data, Montero has now sold over 500,000 total units. Pre-released singles likely factor into 500k already being accumulated.

Montero contains 15 tracks, with additional star-studded appearances from Megan Thee Stallion, Elton John, and Doja Cat. At the time of the album’s release, Nas X also released over five new music videos, to promote other records on the album.
