Lil Nas X’s brother wants Nas X and Nicki Minaj to speak to each other
On Wednesday, Nicki Minaj spoke on “The Morning Hustle,” where she said she couldn’t work with the City Girls, due to videos that they posted years ago, not supporting Nicki. That appeared to be during the time that Nicki and Cardi B’s feud had started.
On Wednesday night though, Nicki took to Twitter, and revealed that she spoke to both members of the City Girls. (JT and Yung Miami) Nicki announced that she had a good conversation with the two, and wants to make “good memories” with them, from now on.
Now, there’s another Nicki fan, who’d like to patch things up with the legendary rapper. This is Lil Nas X, as his brother, explained things on Twitter. @BigBroSleepyX took to Twitter, and quoted Nicki’s tweet, and said “U got one more Barb to have a convo with.”
This referred to Nas X, as fans found out a few years ago, how big of a Nicki fan he was, growing up. Nas X denied that he was a Barb, but this ended up being due to him not being open about his sexuality, at the time. Now, Nas X’s brother wants the two artists to finally speak, and work together.
“I guess imma be the one to say it can we get a @NICKIMINAJ and @LilNasX for the culture. I watched my brother grow up loving Nicki. I personally believe if he can have one feat from anybody it would be her. He deserves it. He worked his ass off to get to where he at.”
Last fall, Nas X also claimed that Nicki didn’t respond to him, regarding a feature request. Nas X initially wanted to put her on his smash hit single, “Industry Baby.” That went on to go to Jack Harlow, which still ended up being the number one song, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Hopefully, Nas X and Nicki eventually work on a record together.
