Lil Nas X Trolls Benzino, By Laughing at Idea of Parents Explaining To Kids That Gay People Exist, After Benzino Said His BET Awards Performance Was “Satanic”

On Sunday, Lil Nas X continued his strong 2021 run by performing at the BET Awards. The record he performed was the chart-topping “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” single. Nas X ended up kissing a back-up dancer, and Benzino was one of many to criticize his performance. Benzino went as far as labeling it “satanic.”

“It was too uncomfortable, too irresponsible, too forced and too irrelevant to the awards,” Benzino explained. “Homie ain’t even hot like that for music anymore anyway. It’s a shame what all this is coming too. I wish I had the backing to bring the Source Awards back. I bought ol town road for ZINO, he knows every word but all the satanic sh*t I’m just not with.”

Now, Nas X is responding to Benzino’s comments, and doesn’t seem bothered at all. He also laughed at Benzino saying that parents will have a hard time explaining people like Nas X to children.

“I’m sorry but the thought of n*ggas sitting their kids down in the living room and telling them gay people exist is so hilarious to me.”

Nas X has been very nonchalant about his performances and music videos, ever since March. Then, he put out his “Montero,” music video, where he was seen twerking on Satan. He also released his Nike Air Max 97 “Satan Shoes,” which ended up being blocked to be sold anymore by Nike. Nas X initially partnered with MSCHF for these shoes. Nas X’s debut studio album, “Montero: The Album,” is also on the way.
