Lil Nas X has been dominating this spring with the success of his “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” single, that was released in late March. That record debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and also sparked controversy with its music video due to Nas X being seen twerking on Satan. Montero also went platinum in the US. This also came after a successful winter where his “Holiday” single also hit platinum status.
Now, Nas X is continuing his consistent run as he has just announced a new single coming soon. This is titled “Sun Goes Down” and will be out on May 21. He released the cover art as well as he is seen in the sky with a purple suit and background attached to it.
With Nas X putting out multiple singles since March, it’s expected that his debut studio album will be released this summer as well. Back at the end of March, he revealed that the album would be titled “Montero The Album.” At this point though, it’s unclear if he will be sticking with that.
