Last night, Lil’ Kim began trending, on Twitter, when Keyshia Cole played “Let It Go,” during Verzuz battle. Many fans missed the memo that Lil’ Kim and Keyshia Cole ended their beef. So, there were a lot of surprised people, seeing Kim.
Lil’ Kim had the game on lock, for several years. However, towards the late 2000s, Lil’ Kim saw her grip begin to loosen. Many didn’t understand her intense dislike towards her Notorious portrayer, Naturi Naughton, for playing her.
During a recent interview, with Essence, Lil’ Kim spoke on a potential biopic. When discussing who she would want to play her, she said Teyana Taylor, whom she had a close moment with, in 2016, adding there is “no one else in the industry” who could play her. In reaction to this, Teyana Taylor expressed much delight, and excitement, on Twitter.
