Lil Durk talks leaving Def Jam, paying homage to Chicago, signing King Von, and more on #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

Of all the Chicago rappers who emerged in 2012, Lil Durk was the one with the most staying power. The Chicago rapper made a lot of noise, becoming the most-popular rapper not named Chief Keef. No surprise, those two went onto have beef, for some time.

Lil Durk has managed to remain a fixture over the past five years. In 2012, he would sign with Def Jam, and would also form an alliance with the Coke Boys. His alliance with French Montana definitely helped him build his buzz.

Recently, Lil Durk stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where he sat down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. During the interview, he discussed his departure from Def Jam. He would also speak on his city, Chicago, signing King Von, and more.
