Lil Durk pushes “7220” album to March 11

Earlier this month, Lil Durk announced that his seventh studio album, “7220,” would be released on February 22. He explained that he wanted to put this project out on the same day as Kanye West’s “Donda 2.”

Now, the Chicago rapper has just announced that 7220 still hasn’t arrived. Instead, he will released this project on March 11. Durk has just put out his “Ahhh Ha” single, and music video, thogh.

7220 is also led by the singles “Pissed Me Off” and “Broadway Girls,” ft. Morgan Wallen. The collaboration with Wallen came as a surprise to many fans, as a lot didn’t expect Durk to work with a huge country superstar. Wallen is also still being criticized for randomly saying the n-word around his friend, in February 2021. Broadway Girls went on to debut at number 14, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
7220 will be Durk’s third total album, in the last two years. Last summer, Durk put out the collab album, “The Voice Of The Heroes,” with Lil Baby, last summer. That went on to top the Billboard 200 chart. Starting in April, Durk will also be venturing on his “7220 Tour.”
