The Notorious B.I.G. is the ultimate come-up story in hip hop and his death could not have come at a worse time. When he was alive, The Notorious B.I.G. had one of the most-inspiring stories in hip hop, as he put himself on and then his team. Lil’ Cease was among the highest on this list, as he was B.I.G.’s younger cousin.
Before his untimely death, The Notorious B.I.G. reached the pinnacle of music when he ended up working with Michael Jackson. Four years ago, Michael Jackson, himself, passed away and many look at his collaborations with The Notorious B.I.G. as classics. Even with this musical respect, rumors about Michael Jackson did not escape Biggie.
DJ Cipha Sounds has invited a large number of major hip hop artists at UCB Theatre for improvs under his “Take It Personal” series. Last Friday, Lil’ Cease was the latest guest to talk to DJ Cipha Sounds. Lil’ Cease explained The Notorious B.I.G. didn’t want him around Michael Jackson because he didn’t trust him around children.
