Lil Baby’s Powerful “The Bigger Picture” Single Officially Goes Gold

Lil Baby has arguably been the hottest rapper of 2020. He started to take off higher with the release of his sophomore album, ‘My Turn,’ in February which was led by hit singles such as ‘Woah‘ and ‘Sum 2 Prove.’ It went on to debut at No.1  on the Billboard 200 chart. The deluxe edition featured even more hits such as “All In” and “We Paid” feat. 42 Dugg.

The Quality Control Music rapper also put out a new song last month titled “The Bigger Picture.” This addressed the ongoing protests in America which shed light on racism and police brutality. Last week, it reached as high as No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Currently, it is at 7.

The Bigger Picture continues its momentum though as it has now been certified gold by the RIAA in the United States, according to Chart Data. This is after 500,000 units were sold. The song’s message continues to resonate with people as Baby also filmed the music video for it while protesting in his hometown of Atlanta.

Baby’s My Turn album also returned to the No.1  album in the country last month and still holds that spot at the moment. Expect some competition from Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon‘ and Gucci Mane’s ‘So Icy Summer‘ this week as well, though.
