Lil Baby and Gunna Inch Closer To “Drip Too Hard” Hitting Diamond Certification, as It Is Now 9x Platinum

Lil Baby and Gunna are viewed as one of the best duos in hip-hop as they’ve created plenty of hits since 2018. One of their most notable hits is “Drip Too Hard,” which appeared on their 2018 “Drip Harder” album. Drip Too Hard went on to peak at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Drip Too Hard continues to be a fan-favorite three years later as well as it has now reached another huge milestone. According to Chart Data, it is now certified 9x platinum in the US. This is after selling nine million units. With one more certification, Drip Too Hard will hit diamond status, the first for both Baby and Gunna.

The Drip Harder album as a whole also did very well in terms of sales. It debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart and is also platinum in the US. In 2021, fans hope that Gunna and Baby can put out a sequel for Drip Harder as well.

Currently, both Baby and Gunna are experiencing plenty of success. Baby had a number one album in 2020 with “My Turn” and Gunna just released “Slime Language 2″ with YSL, which was a top album no the Billboard 200 as well.
