Lil Baby and 42 Dugg’s “We Paid” goes 5x platinum

Lil Baby has become one of the biggest stars in hip-hop, over the last four years. Every year, the Atlanta rapper continues to create hit after hit, with no slowing down in sight.

One of the biggest records of Baby’s career was two years ago, when he released his “We Paid” single. This featured 42 Dugg, and appeared on the deluxe edition to Baby’s chart-topping “My Turn” album. We Paid went on to peak at number 10, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Now, We Paid has reached another huge milestone. According to Chart Data, this single is now certified 5x platinum, in the US. This is after selling 5 million units. On YouTube, the video for We Paid also stands at over 307,600,000 views.

Baby’s “My Turn” album originally released in February 2020, as it became his first number one album. Currently, that project stands at 4x platinum, in the US. As far as Baby’s third album, last month, the Quality Control Music artist said that this project is “almost done,” and that new music is on the way. This comes after scoring another number one album, in 2021, with “The Voice Of The Heroes.” That was released with Lil Durk.
