A Brooklyn prison has been heavily criticized for the way they’ve been treating their inmates this winter as they haven’t given them the right accommodations to stay warm. This has resulted in many protests outside of the prison.
Love and Hip-Hop’s Yandy Smith was leading the latest protest this morning and wanted answers for the way inmates were being treated this way. Things ended up turning violent at the end as she was attacked and pepper sprayed. Hopefully she is okay now. Fellow protesters were seeing putting water in here eyes to get rid of the pain.
