In the 1990s, Lauryn Hill enjoyed a run that is becoming increasingly forgotten, sadly. But, the golden era of hip hop closed with Lauryn Hill offering The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Undeniably a classic record, the album has stood the test of time.
Lauryn Hill, however, has seen major dents in her reputation. For years following her solo debut, Lauryn Hill’s return was one of the most-anticipated in hip hop history. But, her 2006 return ended up being underwhelming.
More recent years have seen Lauryn Hill more focused on doing concerts and live performances. For almost every one of them, Lauryn has been extremely late for. Her Pittsburgh fans were beyond upset and were trashing her, but other fans were clowning them for still buying Lauryn Hill tickets when she’s always late.
