Even though Larenz Tate is an actor, he has a deep hip hop history, because he was in almost all of the 90s gangster movies. He even gained acclaim for his role on “South Central,” the short-lived FOX sitcom. But, in the time since then, Larenz Tate has expanded into more roles.

Larenz Tate recently got back into the swing of things and now he is in another series. Much different from “South Central,” Larenz Tate’s new series is called “Game of Silence” and it airs on NBC. Promos for the show have fans excited.

Big Boy caught up with Larenz Tate when he stopped by Real 92.3 and he discussed his new show. Of course, Big Boy came with the jokes, as they discussed “Game of Silence” and what to expect. It’s going on two weeks, but Kobe Bryant still has the world on fire, so they discussed his retirement, the last game, and Tate’s love for the Chicago Bulls.
