A few days ago, footage leaked from TMZ of Quavo and Saweetie getting into a physical altercation in an elevator in 2020. The two were at Saweetie’s North Hollywood apartment. Saweetie was seen throwing punches as the two were then struggling to hold on to a video game console back. Last month, the two publicly broke up on Twitter.
In the elevator footage, Saweetie was down on the ground for a few minutes after losing control of this box. She soon got up, left the elevator, and walked away from Quavo. Before this, Quavo had pulled her back into the elevator when they were pulling onto the box. Now, LAPD is reportedly looking into this incident, according to TMZ.
Detectives looked at the footage and are now reportedly wanting to meet with both Saweetie and Quavo to discuss what happened. This would of course happen individually. Sources close to the situation added that this incident could be classified as domestic violence. At this point, LAPD would conduct an investigation and hand the case to the City Attorney for possible charges.
