Those Portland Trail Blazers’ teams, of the late 2000s, left a lot of potential on the table. On one hand, it’s hard to blame LaMarcus Aldridge for leaving. The injuries to Brandon Roy and Greg Oden really made things tough.
But, on the other hand, the basketball gods looked out for LMA, because the Blazers got Damian Lillard. Looking at the current Blazers, if they had a player like Aldridge, the Pelicans aren’t sweeping. Then, down in San Antonio, LMA clearly needs help.
Since Kawhi Leonard wouldn’t play, the Spurs traded him, and he’s on the Raptors’ roster. Meanwhile, LaMarcus Aldridge has DeMar DeRozan playing with him. Yesterday, some fans tried to go in on LMA, but he nicely checked them, and it was funny, too.
