There’s one thing LeBron James has proven, time and time, again, and it’s that this is more than just basketball. When it comes to winning, in the NBA, it’s all about strategy. Nothing in the rule books say that players can’t also be executives.
Just like LeBron exercised his right to leave Cleveland, Kyrie Irving did the same thing. But, that didn’t guarantee that the Cavaliers wouldn’t do anything to compensate for losing him. Today, that vision was completed, as Cleveland beat Boston 121-99, in Boston.
Coming into the game, the Celtics were expecting a win, but they didn’t get one. The LeBron James/Paul Pierce rivalry was in full effect, as his jersey retirement was tonight. Just this meme, alone, not even mentioning the one including Paul Pierce, say it all.
