Nevermind all of the drama, Kyrie Irving is one of the best players in the NBA and his star is rising. Early in his career, he had great stats, but couldn’t lead Cleveland into the playoffs. When LeBron James returned, he formed a strong duo with Kyrie Irving, leading to back-to-back finals.

Kyrie Irving only played a few minutes of the 2015 NBA Finals, ending with his team losing to the Golden State Warriors. Playing them again in 2016, Kyrie Irving looked lost against Curry, after four games. But, he turned it around and hit the game-winning shot in Game 7.

Celebrating his first championship, Kyrie Irving threw a yacht party, which the internet said was “No Black Girls Allowed.” This story took over, immediately going viral, but Kyrie Irving would subtly respond with pics and video footage of women of all races at the party. Still, the story won’t die, so Kyrie Irving explained all on Facebook and apologized, now asking if he can go back to celebrating his first championship.
