One year ago, Kirko Bangz was continuing to watch his profile build, as his music was taking the game over. Looking back on it, Kirko Bangz only had one hit with his “Drank in my Cup” single. All of the hottest rappers in the game jumped on the track and some degree of attention has still gone to Kirko Bangz.
What surprised many was that Kirko Bangz had nothing coming out, in terms of a new album. Instead, Kirko Bangz released his latest mixtape, Procrastination Kills 4 project, a prequel, of sorts, to his new project. Kirko Bangz is now working on his debut album, which is due later this year.
In his native Texas, Kirko Bangz performed in Austin, Texas at the SXSW showcase. At the soundstage at one of his events, Kirko Bangz was contacted by Gowhere Hip Hop and he gave them an interview. During the interview, Kirko Bangz told Gowhere Hip Hop he feels his album will go platinum in its first week.
