Kim Kardashian responds to Kanye West after TikTok disapproval
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce was filed almost a year ago. January 2021 was the initial divorce announcement, and Kim officially filed the paperwork, on February 19. She also appointed divorce attorney, Laura Wasser.
Kim and Kanye have since been co-parenting, and now, Kanye isn’t a fan of their daughter, North, being on TikTok. Kim recently made a TikTok video with North, as the Rae Sremmurd song “This Could Be Us,” was playing in the background.
This morning, Kanye angrily took to Instagram to express him not approving of his daughter being on TikTok. He even believes that she’s being put on TikTok “against her will.”
“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?”
Kim has since responded in her Instagram stories, and believes that she’s been attacked by Kanye, on social media. She also believes that he’s doing more damage, than a harmless TikTok video. This comes almost two years after Kanye expressed his disapproval for the app, and even wanted to start his own Christian version of it.
“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create. As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her so much happiness.”
Hopefully, Kim and Kanye can work out these issues privately, instead of taking things to the Internet. Currently, Kim is dating Pete Davidson, and Kanye is with Julia Fox.
