Brian Kemp is definitely one of the most hated politicians out as he beat Stacey Abrams in the 2018 Georgia Governor race. He used voter suppression tactics by running as the current Secretary of State. He also tried to sue Atlanta Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms, for attempting to issue a mask mandate in the city. That lawsuit was later dropped.

Today, Kemp met with Atlanta hip-hop legend, Killer Mike. Kemp said on his social media feeds that they discussed how the music industry and small businesses are navigating through the pandemic, the value of skilled trade workers, and ending human trafficking in Georgia. There has been a lot of mixed reviews about Mike meeting with Kemp due to Kemp being MAGA.

Mike and others have made the point about needing to be in the room with people who have the power to make change. Kemp has not helped the state of Georgia at all but hopefully, Mike brought some great advice to Kemp. He currently works closely with Mayor Bottoms in Atlanta as well.
