He had made big news when he was able to sign Atlanta veteran rapper, Killer Mike. With a new star signed to the label, he wanted him to begin working on a new album.br /br /In the middle of the new work, T.I. was sent back to prison after being brought up on drug charges. Killer Mike had hoped to release his emPL3DGE/em album before the end of the year. But, without T.I., the label basically shut down.br /br /With T.I. in prison, Killer Mike often checks up on him. If he does not visit, he will send him an email. T.I.’s recent response caught Mike off guard. In his response, he asked how his and Young Dro’s tour was doing and he congratulated them on their success.br /br /Killer Mike said it brought a tear to his eye because T.I. was more concerned about their individual success than he was about having to serve his time in prison.
