Keyshia Cole talks marriage, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, and more with DJ Whoo Kid [AUDIO]

Seven years ago, Keyshia Cole burst onto the scene, and immediately filled the angry R&B songstress void. Cole enjoyed success, following her breakout single, “I Should’ve Cheated.” The song only proved to be the first of many offerings from her. From 2005 through 2008, Keyshia was one of the biggest names in R&B.

During her run, she also became the face of BET, starring in “Keyshia Cole: The Way it Is,” which introduced the world to her mother, Frankie, and her sister, Neffe. Their appearances on the show led to their own spin-off, “Frankie & Neffe.” Cole decided to end her reality series, in 2009, as she built her family with Cleveland Cavaliers’ player, Daniel Gibson.

DJ Whoo Kid caught up with Keyshia Cole, who discussed her life as an actual basketball wife. During the interview, she also spoke on working with Lil Wayne, on “Enough of Love,” a possible relation to Snoop Dogg, wanting to sign with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records, and more.
