Yesterday, excerpts from George Karl’s upcoming autobiography were shared online. The comments he made about Carmelo Anthony and Kenyon Martin during their time on the Denver Nuggets caused ire. He basically said he raised Carmelo and Kenyon Martin.
Coming in the wake of Phil Jackson making his “posse” comments about LeBron James and his crew, George Karl was very offensive. But, he hasn’t received the same level of attention. This doesn’t mean people don’t want to hear other sides of the story.
Kenyon Martin visited Fox Sports, where he spoke to Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe on “Undisputed.” Here, Kenyon Martin responded to the comments George Karl made about him and Carmelo Anthony. Making things clear, Kenyon said his mother was there as his father, too, and that Karl’s comments were very disrespectful.
