In the city of Compton, there is nothing but excitement and joy where hip hop is concerned and it is due to the efforts of Game and the sensational Kendrick Lamar. After making fans wait an entire year, Kendrick Lamar released good kid, m.A.A.d. city. The album was his official debut, despite being a follow-up to 2011’s Section.80.
Last month, Kendrick Lamar revealed the latest single from the album would be “Poetic Justice.” Featuring Drake on the single, Kendrick Lamar felt the track could potentially be a hit. Over the past two years, almost everything involving Drake has resulted in a major hit for everyone involved.
Kendrick Lamar announced “Poetic Justice” as the next good kid, m.A.A.d. city single, but not much has come since then. Recently, Kendrick Lamar made plans of starting the music video. MTV News caught up with Kendrick Lamar and these plans were discussed, with him saying the scheduling with Drake is taking place and that he wants Janet Jackson for the video.
