Kendrick Lamar plays soccer with fans in Ghana

Last week, Kendrick Lamar finally released his fifth studio album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” This was Kendrick’s first album since early 2017, as fans didn’t disappoint at all. It broke Apple Music’s first-day streams record, as fans anxiously waited for its midnight release.

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is also expected to be the number one album in the US, and have the biggest first week sales for an album, in 2022. This would be Kendrick’s third straight number one album. This is also Kendrick’s final album on Top Dawg Entertainment, as he made this announcement on his Oklama website, back in August. Kendrick had been with the Los Angeles-based record label, for over 15 years.

Over the weekend, Kendrick was also spotted in Ghana. There, he played soccer with local fans, and he appeared to enjoy himself. This area appeared to be a very low key location, as plenty of murals were on display. Kendrick also reportedly took photos with the athletes and fans nearby, after they got done playing, per TMZ.
