Kendrick Lamar holding “To Pimp A Butterfly” album signing in Compton tomorrow

Kendrick Lamar 8Two years ago, Kendrick Lamar was basking in his success, as he topped the hip hop world. At the time, Jay-Z had only been heard sparingly since he did Watch The Throne with Kanye West. But, Jay-Z came out of his hiatus to do the “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” remix.

Kendrick Lamar would be months away from his official hiatus, which lasted one full calendar year. Effectively, Kendrick Lamar took off from 2012 until 2015. However, Kendrick Lamar never really fell out of rotation.

Recently, Kendrick Lamar officially ended his hiatus with To Pimp A Butterfly, his surprise album release. With his new album out, Kendrick Lamar is going back home. He is going to the Best Buy in Compton to hold an album signing, making the announcement on Twitter.
