When it comes to hip hop, most people only associate rap with the genre and they often dissect rap’s health. A decade ago, there was the Hip Hop Is Dead conversation. However, recent years have seen R&B go into a sharp decline, as rap has forever evolved.
Kehlani, however, has managed to cultivate a sound that hearkens back to the old days. She is heavily influenced by TLC, Xscape, and the artists of that nature. All of that shines through on her “Distractions” single, which dropped late last year.
Today, though, Kehlani and her girlfriend spent the day at Amber Rose’ event, Slut Walk, in Los Angeles. She and her girlfriend had their love at full display, sharing kisses, and holding one another. In the pics she posted on social media, fans began commenting on how the ladies look so much alike.
