Two of the Bay area’s best and brightest singers are rumored to be at odds, and it’s truly a sad thing to see. When Kehlani released her single, “All Me”, featuring Keyshia Cole, fans responded to it really well. The record somewhat kicked off this this mini-moment Kehlani is currently enjoying. She’s been flooding the streets with memorable singles since late 2019, getting fans ready for eventual new album.
So when Kehlani dropped the music video for All Me, fans took notice of an absent Keyshia Cole. Rumors of some tension between the two singers started to brew. After noticing some dug up tweets, that speculation may not too far fetched. A fan pulled up some screenshots of the two singers supposedly subtweeting each other.
In Kehlani’s tweet, she laments about an artist she looks up acting to big for their britches and not being able to humble themselves. Coincidentally Cole sent out a tweet stating, “Girl shut the f*ck up.” While it wasn’t a direct response to Kehlani’s tweet, it’s a pretty timely tweet, given it’s time stamp.
