This weekend, a video went viral of Keaton Jones, a middle-schooler who spoke out against those bullying him. With tears in his eyes, he asked why people choose to be bullies. His emotion won over the likes of Justin Bieber and Chris Brown, who offered to be his friend.

Joe Shilling, a popular MMA fighter, also reached out to Keaton Jones, via his mother, Kimberly Jones. After looking up Keaton’s mom, some found racially-insensitive comments from her, plus photo evidence. On top of that, it was rumored that Keaton was hurling racial slurs.

Yesterday, Keaton Jones found himself the target of even bigger social media bullies, once all of that came out. This morning, Keaton Jones and Kimberly Jones stopped by “Good Morning America.” There, they defended against bullying, and denied the racist accusations against them.
