Nobody rises to the top without help, this is the case for everybody who is successful. In hip hop, Jay-Z is the picture of success, both as an artist, and as a businessman. But, Jay-Z would have had a much tougher road, if not for the help of Dame and “Biggs.”
While Jay-Z and Damon Dash were always in the spotlight, the third partner, Kareem “Biggs” Burke was in the background. He was the silent partner and he helped the early days move. In the end, his investment paid off big for him and now he is working with Nike.
Kareem “Biggs” Burke stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” sitting down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. Biggs said he is no longer interested in doing music.
