Kanye West’s upcoming Grammys perfomance is reportedly not happening, after recent behavior on Instagram

Kanye West reportedly scrapped from Grammys performance

Since February, Kanye West has been out of control, on Instagram. He’s consistently called out his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s new man, Pete Davidson, as well as Kim herself. Ye hated that Kim let their 8-year-old daughter North use TikTok, and continued to express how jealous he was, over Kim moving on, with the “Saturday Night Live” star.

Last week, Kanye also bashed D.L. Hughley for saying he’s stalking Kim, and even called TV host Trevor Noah, a “coon,” after criticizing Ye for how he’s been treating Kim. All of this behavior eventually resulted in Instagram suspending Kanye’s account, for 24 hours. That went on to expire on Thursday, but Ye has yet to post anything. In fact, every one of his posts have been deleted.

Kanye was also set to perform at the GRAMMYs in Las Vegas next month, but that is being scrapped. According to The Blast, Ye reportedly received a call, where he received this surprising news. This is due to the “Donda” rapper exhibiting “concerning online behavior.” Trevor Noah is also hosting the GRAMMYs, which would make for an awkward encounter with Kanye.

This news comes as Ye is also nominated for five GRAMMYs, which include Best Album, Best Rap Album, and Best Song. These are for his 2021 chart-topping “Donda” album. Last month, he released the sequel, which was only available on Stem Player.

A petition has even surfaced, requesting for Kanye to be removed from next month’s Coachella festival. He is set to join other headliners such as Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and more.
