Kanye West’s “Donda,” Becomes His Fastest Album, to Reach 1 Billion Spotify Streams

It’s been almost two months now, since Kanye West released his 10th studio album, “Donda.” This project was delayed three times, but was eventually released, on August 29. It went on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. That came after three album listening events were held, in Atlanta, and in Ye’s hometown of Chicago.

Donda continues to be one of the albums of the year, as it is currently number nine, on the Billboard 200 chart. Streaming numbers continue to impress, as it has now totaled 1 billion streams, on Spotify, according to Chart Data. It is also Ye’s fastest album to hit 1 billion streams, on this platform.

Donda contained 27 tracks in total, and contained huge appearances from DaBaby, Jay Z, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Fivio Foreign, The Lox, and more. Some of the biggest tracks on this project have been “Hurricane” ft. Lil Baby and The Weeknd, and “Off The Grid,” ft. Playboi Carti and Fivio Foreign.
