Kanye West continues to rant heavily on Twitter after saying a few days ago that he wouldn’t release new music until his contracts at Universal and Sony are up. He also said that the music industry and NBA are “modern day slave ships.” Today, things got even crazier.
Ye posted his contracts with Sony and Universal and also beefed with Hit-Boy. The wildest moment came when Ye posted a video of himself urinating on one of his Grammy awards. He said “Trust me … I WONT STOP.” Ye then proceeded to mention how standard artist contracts trap the artist and don’t actually help them.
“90% of the record contracts on the planet are still on a royalty A standard record deal is a trap to NEVER have you recoup, and there’s all these hidden costs like the “distribution fees” many labels put in their contracts to make even more money off our work without even trying.”
