Kanye West Submits “Donda” Album, and “Hurricane” Single, Featuring Lil Baby and The Weeknd, For 2022 Grammy Considerations

In August, Kanye West finally released one of the most anticipated albums of 2021, in “Donda.” This was his 10th studio album, as it was finally put out, after three delays from late July-late August. Over the course of that time, Ye also had two album listening events in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and at Soldier Field, in his hometown of Chicago.

One of the biggest records on Donda has been “Hurricane,” as it features Lil Baby and The Weeknd. That ended up being released as a single, and now, could potentially win a Grammy. This all comes a year after Ye posted a video to Twitter, of himself urinating on one of his Grammys.

On Friday, Universal Records revealed that Ye decided to submit Donda and Hurricane, for Grammy considerations. Donda would be in the Album of The Year category, and Hurricane would be part of Record Of The Year.

Kanye has also been making headlines over the past week, for the unusual Halloween masks he’s been covering his face with, all over Europe, and in New York City. Fans were also surprised to see his new haircut, which was cut in different places, on his head. He also legally changed his full name to just “Ye.”
