Kanye West hires Jason Lee as social media manager
A few weeks ago, Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee landed in hot waters, on social media. This was due to him falsely reporting that Queen Elizabeth II had passed away. Lee firmly stood by his sources, despite the public backlash, and the fact that other media outlets weren’t reporting on the story.
Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram feed has since been slapped with a warning to potential followers, about misinformation. Lee is still finding more opportunities, though.
According to The Sun, Kanye West has hired Lee as his new social media manager. Lee is said to be in charge of brokering deals and assisting with Ye’s public image. Kanye also reportedly feels that he wants people around him who knows how media works, snd have a mutual vision.
Kanye has definitely been extremely active on Instagram over the past month, as he’s dissed Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, and also expressed how sad he’s been about his and Kim’s divorce. It’ll definitely be interesting to how Jason Lee is able to help benefit Kanye’s social media presence, especially after Lee’s recent reporting scandal, regarding the Queen.
