Kanye West to have “Donda 2” listening event in Miami
Kanye West had social media on fire again, on Saturday. This was due to him calling out Kid Cudi, for being friends with Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. Ye also revealed that Cudi won’t appear on his upcoming “Donda 2” album, because of this.
”Just so everyone knows, Kid Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who. We all speak in Billie language now.”
Cudi soon responded to Kanye in his Instagram comments section, and is perfectly fine with being left off of Donda 2. Cudi even claimed that he’s the “best thing” about Kanye’s albums, since he met him.
Now, Kanye has more news, regarding Donda 2. There will be an album listening event that will take place in Miami, on February 22. This is also the same day that the album will be released. The event will be held at Loan Depot Park. Tickets will be on sale on February 14, at noon ET.
As many remember, Kanye had three album listening events last summer, for his first Donda album. Two were held in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the final one went down at Soldier Field, in Ye’s hometown of Chicago. Donda 1 went on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and also became Kanye’s 10th consecutive number one album.
Donda 1 was delayed three times, which is why it had three listening events. It’ll be interesting to see if the sequel follows that same trend.
