Kandi Burruss wins Season 3 of ‘The Masked Singer’ making history as the first female music artist to ever win the competition

Fox’s hit show ‘The Masked Singer’ witnessed one of it biggest seasons yet as Season 3 broke patterns and pulled some first time situations. As the show reached its grand finale after an incredibly exciting season, fans were on edge as the competition was narrowed down to three of their favorites: The “Turtle,” who was later revealed as singer/songwriter Jesse McCartney, ” “Night Angel,” later revealed as singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss and “The Frog” who was later revealed as Mr.106th & Park himself, Bow Wow.

Not only was this the first time ‘The Masked Singer’ crowned a female music artist as the winner, but also watched as the fans held onto a rapper [Bow Wow] for the first time all the way to the grand finale!

Kandi Burruss, a Grammy Award winning songwriter and singer, said that she had lost confidence in her singing ability and entered the competition with no expectations. She admitted that as the process of the show continued that she began to gain a powerful sense of confidence in herself as a singer and performer altogether.

“The Frog” aka the multi-talented singer and songwriter Jesse McCartney was a very close second place.

This season will forever be remembered in the ‘The Masked Singer’s’ history for all of the iconic performances and breakthroughs.
