Juvenile looks back on his classic music videos with XXL [VIDEO]

For half of a decade, Juvenile was Cash Money Records. New Orleans rose to take over the mainstream in the mid-1990s, behind the efforts of Master P. Once P’s run was over, however, Juvenile picked up the reigns and ran with it. From the 1998 release of 400 Degreez until his 2002 departure from Cash Money, no one ran New Orleans, or hip hop, the way Juvenile did.

The run Juvenile enjoyed earlier in his career has garnered much acclaim, leading many to consider him a legend. With Cash Money Records dominating the game more now than ever before, there are many hoping Juvenile can return to the label, once again, and establish a new deal. There have been rumors of Juvenile reuniting with The Hot Boyz, but nothing has come of them.

It seems remembering the old Cash Money days will be the closest fans will come to having Juvenile back with his old team. XXL put something together for those nostalgic fans when they invited Juvenile to sit down with them and reflect on a few of his classic music videos. Juvenile sat down for a segment they call “XXL Rewind.”
