This summer, Juice WRLD has been the breakout artist. The Chicago rapper was signed to Interscope Records and he quickly followed this deal with the “Lucid Dreams” release. Slowly, the song has continued rising to become a summer anthem.
“Lucid Dreams” has consistently risen, but ended up narrowly missing the top spot on Billboard. The song seemed poised to take number one, until Cardi B’s “I Like It” gained momentum. Both records took a backseat, when XXXTentacion died, and “SAD!” hit number one.
Thus far, Juice WRLD has reached number three on Billboard. While he has yet to top the Hot 100, he has had a lot of success. The record has moved 1 million copies and has gone platinum.
