JR Smith talks bad pass at the end of regulation and says he knew the game was tired + was preparing for a timeout #WarriorsVsCavs #NBAFinals [VIDEO]

To end regulation, JR Smith made a play that made it look like he wanted the Cavaliers to lose. Of course, he didn’t, but they did, but, at the same time, this isn’t the end of the world. Historically, the Cavs never win Game 1 of the NBA Finals, but they did win a title.

With that being said, this is going to be a tough series and Cleveland is likely to take it to a Game 7. History proves that the Warriors shouldn’t count the Cavs out as easily as the media has. But, if JR Smith has more end of game plays like that, Golden State’s chances improve.

JR Smith had a very awkward interview with the media, following the game, just not as awkward as LeBron’s interview. He explained why he made the play that he did. Smith also made it clear that he knew the game was tied at the end of regulation.
