DJ Spinz coined the phrase “New Atlanta,” marking the generation of talent emerging from the A from 2011 to the present. Initially, A1/Freebandz dominated and later, the crown went to Street Execs/T.R.U., and now Quality Control is firmly in control. Last year, Johnny Cinco became the latest breakout star from the group.
Johnny Cinco most-recently blessed the streets with his mixtape, John Popi, which dropped at the end of the summer. Currently, Johnny Cinco is hard at work on his latest project, called I Swear, which should drop before the end of the year. Since fans are still bumping his last mixtape, Johnny Cinco appears to have plans of keeping people locked in.
DJ Smallz recently returned to the media game with DJSmallzeyez.com and he has already had some of the biggest names on the mixtape scene in. He recently had Johnny Cinco in and he talked about the John Popi mixtape. In this interview, he broke the mixtape down in full.
