Though the world just began to pay attention, G.O.O.D. Music has been around for the past nine years. Kanye West created the movement before the release of his 2004 debut and he signed artists he was working with. Among the original artists on the roster were veteran rapper, Common, and crooner, John Legend.

John Legend paved his way in the game and has a long list of hits under his belt. Among the artists John Legend worked with over the years are Jay-Z and Rick Ross. There are many more, but John Legend has found his groove working with Rick Ross. The two worked together on Rick Ross’ Deeper Than Rap on the “Magnificent” single.

Currently, John Legend is in New York City and he stopped by Power 105.1 to talk to DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee, “The Breakfast Club.” In the interview, he talked about Kanye West and Rick Ross’ controversy.
