Introduced as a member of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music collective, John Legend always had a political voice. The early point of his career is marked by the “Ordinary People” single. As the years have gone on, he has become more politically-charged.
The current political and social landscape has almost every celebrity using their fan base to express their opinion. Many in the urban community have come to truly resent the conservative movement. This was shown just tonight.
Popular news personality, Piers Morgan, was on Twitter discussing the possibility of his death. He said he didn’t want people to make him sound too perfect when he did die, so no sugar coating. Catching this, John Legend commented that he should test the waters by announcing his retirement.
